Dear Rotarians,
The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet this Thursday, December 11th, at 7:15am at Franklin Pierce University to discuss the General Assembly and present the Board Slate for 2026–2027 for member approval. There will not be a speaker, but we will welcome our new Rotarians!
We will also present the ideas for our fundraiser.
Speaking of new Rotarians, it was my honor to induct six new Rotarians over the past few weeks. (L-R) President Tom Ahlborn-Hsu, Karl Pruter, Alex Petit, Eli Hodgson, Jim Douglas, Patty Farmer, and Membership Chairperson Russell Gaskamp. Missing is Rotarian Jim Potter, who was unavailable when the picture was taken.
On December 18th, we will meet at The Cathedral of the Pines. The Conant Choir will be joining us to sing at our morning meeting, which is wonderful news! Karie, the Conant Music Ensemble Director, has agreed to her students taking a "field trip" to sing for us. As you may know, field trips were eliminated by the school budget; therefore, our club will support their presence at our meeting with a financial contribution.
Holidays are upcoming, and we will NOT meet on Dec 25th, Christmas Day, or January 1st, New Year's Day. Therefore, our last meeting of 2025 will be December 18th.
