Happy Tuesday, Fellow Rotarians,
I hope everyone survived the snow storm on Saturday and is enjoying these frigid temperatures! If my math is correct, only 48 days until spring; it seems hard to fathom at this point.
For those of us that enjoy football, the past two weekends have been filled with highly competitive and exciting games; good luck to the Bengals and Rams in the upcoming Super Bowl.
Rotary International's monthly theme for February is “Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution." If any members have a potential guest speaker they would like to invite that would like to speak to this topic, this would be great.
The Board of Directors at our January meeting decided to stay with “Zoom” meetings through the month of February, at which point the BoD will then re-assess the situation. Below is a schedule for this month:
- Thursday, 2/3 @ 7:30am -- Club Assembly (ZOOM) unless we get a last-minute guest speaker.
- Wednesday, 2/9 @ 8:00am -- Board of Directors Meeting (via ZOOM).
- Thursday, 2/10 @ 7:30am Club Meeting (via ZOOM); guest speaker TBD.
- Thursday, 2/17 @ 7:30am Club Meeting (via ZOOM); guest speaker TBD.
- Thursday, 2/24 – NO MEETING due to President’s Day holiday.
