Hi Fellow Rotarians,
There is no Breakfast meeting this week because of Presidents' Day. Our next meeting will be a Club Assembly during breakfast at 7:15am on February 28th at Franklin Pierce.
Good to see a dozen Rotarians at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on Saturday night as Shelter from the Storm (Non-Profit of the Year), Silver Ranch Airport (Business of the Year), and Don MacIsaac (Citizen of the Year) were recognized and honored. Our Owen Houghton was also recognized by the Chamber for his work relative to making "Jake's Van" a reality for the Monadnock Christian Ministries. Meanwhile, Rotarians Stephanie Niemela and Sam LaFortune will be serving as Directors on the Chamber's Board this year, and Travis Kumph was recognized for his service during the past two years as president of the Chamber Board. Can't say that our Rotarians aren't involved!
Efforts are underway with the Interactors via weekly public speaking workshops every Friday that I am privileged to host -- six Interactors are engaged as we prepare them to compete in the "Four-way test" Speakup competition. More to follow.
