Hi Fellow Rotarians,

I hope everyone made it through the cold spell without any frozen pipes.

Our meeting this week will be in the warm Spagnuolo Hall dining room at Franklin Pierce University. Plan on our regular time of 7:15am on Thursday, February 9th, or on Zoom at 7:45am at https://franklinpierce-edu.zoom.us/j/94573473324.  No passcode required.

Bill Raymond will be running the meeting, and Bob Schaumann will introduce our speaker, Vanessa Page, from the New Hampshire office of Homeland Security in Concord.

Thanks to Greg Walsh for running last week's meeting and Donna Senechal for arranging our speaker, Scott Symond, who shared insights about SMART Ride LLC, a new local ride-share program.

Yours in Service,

Peter

Scott Symond, CEO of SMART Ride

Scott Symond, our Guest Speaker, shared insights about his company, SMART Ride LLC, which provides safe, clean and economically sound transportation to the mobility-challenged members of our communities.  Since its inception, the company has been quite busy.  Scott fielded several questions from Rotarians who wanted to know more about his company and some of the challenges in running such a valuable service.
