Fellow Rotarians,
Thanks to Jed Brummer for filling in for me at last week’s meeting. Our next meeting is a morning meeting at The Woodbound on Thursday at 7:15am. Alan Bartunek has the invocation. Cathedral of the Pines Executive Director Particia Vargas will be speaking to the club about the Cathedral’s future, including planned renovations and anniversary events.
The Community Supper at the United Church of Jaffrey will be on Thursday, January 23rd. Sheila Bergeron is heading up this event. If you can help out, please let Sheila know sheilabergeron@hotmail.com.
The First Responders Dinner at the Jaffrey VFW will be on Thursday, January 30th. Andy Lawn has the lead, and this is an “all hands on deck” evolution. There will be food, entertainment, and the opportunity to serve those that serve us on a daily basis.
Both service events give Rotarians an excellent opportunity to showcase our club to the Jaffrey and Rindge communities.
