Congratulations to Rotarian Owen Houghton on a job well done as master of ceremonies for the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration at the United Church of Jaffrey last evening.
We do not have a morning meeting this week due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Community Supper at the United Church of Jaffrey will be on Thursday, January 23rd. If you have signed up with Sheila, thank you. If you can help out and have not signed up, please contact Sheila at sheilabergeron@hotmail.com .
Our meeting the following week is the First Responders Dinner at the Jaffrey VFW on Thursday, January 30th. Andy Lawn has the lead; this is an “all hands on deck” evolution, as we have reported 125 attendees to our caterer. Great job, Andy!
As a reminder, our winter cancellation policy is that our meetings are cancelled if school is cancelled. If there is a two-hour delay for the schools, our meeting will be held. For future reference, the snow day policy is on page 26 of the little black book. In addition, if there is a cancellation, an email will be sent by 6:00am to the entire membership.
