Hi Fellow Rotarians,
The Thursday, January 31st, meeting is an EVENING meeting -- an early evening SOCIAL event upstairs at the Shattuck. For this reason, there will be no breakfast meeting that same Thursday morning.
Thanks to everyone for helping me with their headcount for hor d'oeuvres. Come and enjoy the company of fellow Rotarians and their spouses/significant others from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The weather promises to cooperate! Plenty of good victuals -- you likely won't want to have a dinner when you go home! Strong waters are available at the cash bar.
Although this won't be a Rotary "business" meeting, we are honored to host Reverend David Jadlocki, one of the key drivers of the "Got Lunch" program to which we made a sizable donation in 2018. The program has just gotten underway -- Reverend David will give us an informal update on where our Rotary donation is being put to good use. I think you will be pleased at the impact "Got Lunch" is already having on the Middle School and Conant High School communities!
Diane and I look forward to seeing you -- this will be our first Rotary social since Gavel Night. Hard to believe that Gavel Night is coming up again in just five months. Where does the time go?
