I am very sorry to have missed my first meeting. Thanks to Gas for running the meeting on short notice. I heard there was a good discussion about club goals and the exploratory meeting on Ukraine.
Our next meeting of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club is this Thursday, July 21st, at 7:15am, at Franklin Pierce University. Our guest speaker will be Jennifer Kiley, Director of Region 14's Applied Technology Center.
I've been on a Covid roller coaster for the last week. Notified on Wednesday just after the board meeting that I was exposed last Monday. Got a negative test on Thursday evening, then a positive test on Saturday morning. Fortunately, it was a false "positive" because I've had three negative test results from two different manufacturers since first testing "positive." So, I'm happy to be Covid-free.
The upcoming exploratory meeting on Ukraine resettlement and affordable housing will be at Bob and Diane Schaumann's home, 42 Fitch Rd, Jaffrey, this coming Saturday at 8:30AM. Bob promises to have homemade cranberry/blueberry muffins and coffee. His invitation letter will go out later today.
