Dear Rotarians,
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, July 25th, at the Cathedral of the Pines, Rindge, at 7:15am. At the meeting, we will briefly discuss various topics that the Club has planned for the coming days. Sam LaFortune, chairperson for the October 26th Raffle Party, will also provide a brief update on the event preparation. Additionally, we are honored to have Bill Johnson, the director of the Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance Service, as our distinguished speaker.
Rudra Aryal will bring the breakfast items and Bob Schaumann will bring the coffee. We are looking forward to a delicious breakfast!
Last week, we had an excellent meeting that was hosted by the Jaffrey Fire Department, which included a great turnout of Rotarians and guests. Dr. Marc Winiecki was inducted as our newest Rotarian, with Jim Banghart sponsoring Marc's membership, and Russell Gaskamp arranging the new membership processes. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast, and we thank Fire Department Chief David Chamberlain and his firefighters for arranging this meeting and preparing a great breakfast. Chief Chamberlain was also our speaker and gave an insightful presentation on how the Jaffrey Fire Department (JFD) works to create a safe community in our area.
A special thanks to Rotarian Andy Lawn for connecting with the JFD and for arranging the breakfast meeting, during which the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club presented a check to Chief Chamberlain as a donation towards their fund-raising efforts for new equipment. We also expressed the Club's desire to support the Jaffrey and Rindge Fire Departments.
Yours in Service,
Rudra

Don't Touch That Boat, Jed!!
Rotarian Jed Brummer sits in the Jaffrey Fire Department's rescue craft, wondering if he could ever smuggle it over to the Rindge Fire Department! Behind the photographer were two Jaffrey Firefighters who made sure that Jed remained "honest."
