Dear Rotarians,

Our next Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club meeting will be held at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, March 27, at 7:15am.

This week, we have our regular club meeting, followed by a presentation from Rotarian Andy Lawn, who will speak on "Rotary Camp Quest."

Along with this, the Club will recognize and honor Eliana (Ellee) Ludlam, a 7th grader at Conant Middle High School, as our February "Student of the Month."

Last week, we enjoyed a warm breakfast, coffee, and meaningful conversations at each table at the Cathedral of the Pines. The meeting began with an invocation prayer by Owen Houghton, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a heartfelt singing of "America the Beautiful." Thank you, Owen, for your impromptu contribution.

The Happy Fines portion was filled with inspiring and touching stories from Rotarians. We also celebrated Teresa’s induction ceremony.  After her induction, she delivered a heartfelt icebreaker speech. Congratulations, Teresa, on becoming a new Rotarian and committing to community service!

Following these events, Rotarian Jon Frederick shared the incredible story of his experiences in the US Coast Guard and his sailing journey around the world.

The Fellowship Committee, led by Andy Lawn and Russell Gaskamp, provided updates on preparations for team registration for the golf tournament and social event scheduled for May 21 at The Shattuck in Jaffrey.  Mark your calendars — the planning is well underway to ensure it will be a fantastic event!

A special thank you to Bob Schaumann for reaching out to all Rotarians who had not specified their vest size on the sign-in sheet!

I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and teamwork continue to bring joy and strength to our community.

Yours in Service,

Rudra
