Hi, Fellow Rotarians,

There will be no morning meeting this week at Franklin Pierce University.  David Jeffries has invited us for a social evening at his house at 617 Mountain Road (Rt 124) on this Thursday, March 30th, from 5:30PM to 7:00PM.  Spouses and Significant Others are invited. Be advised David's house is several miles north on Rt 124 beyond downtown Jaffrey.  Look for his mailbox and driveway on the left side as you travel towards Marlborough.

David will supply beer and wine.  BYOB if you desire something else.   Please bring a tasty hors d'oeuvre to share.

This will be a good time to get to know our newer Rotarians and potential Rotarians, as well as enjoy a great view.

Yours in service,

Peter

Rotarian Tom Bennett Updates Club on FNE Activities in Nicaragua

(TOP) Rotarian Tom Bennett updated the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club on the activities of FNE International and how this non-profit organization is using our nearly $20,000 donation to upgrade the facilities, including sanitation and potable water, in several schools in Chacraseca, Nicaragua.  The second picture shows several Nicaraguan young adults who are now going to college as a result of FNE's work. If you look closely, you will see Rotarian John McCarthy on the far left, his wife, Paddy, just to the right of center, and Rotarian Tom Bennett on the far right, the result of a recent visit in July 2022.  Missing from the picture is Rotarian Jim Guy, Monadnock Rotary Club, who we suspect took the picture.
