Dear Rotarians,

The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, March 6th, at 7:15am.

This week, our former District Governor, Venu Rao, will share his Rotary experiences and insight about the Rotary Foundation.  Venu brings with him an extensive background in Rotary gained over the years. You'll enjoy his presentation, I am sure!

Due to the recent snow days and last week's Spring Break, we postponed the presentation of the "Student of the Month" award for January. This week, we are welcoming and congratulating Abigail Bonzagni, a fifth grader at Jaffrey Grade School, who has been nominated from the Jaffrey Grade School as our Student of the Month nominee.

Last week, the meeting began with an invocation prayer led by John Bred "Jed" Brummer, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and "America the Beautiful." We had a productive roundtable discussion on various topics, including membership, upcoming events, and active participation in different committees.

The Fellowship Committee has announced that the upcoming Golf Tournament and social event will take place on May 21 at The Shattuck in Jaffrey. We are excited about this wonderful tournament and social gathering, especially after the success of last year’s event!

Via separate email, I will send each Rotarian a list of the various Club committees based on our discussion. Certainly, feel free to let us know how you would like to participate so we can update your involvement, accordingly.

I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, March 6th. With your enthusiasm, dedication, and hard work, our club continues to make a meaningful impact, creating joy and strengthening our community!

Yours in service,

Rudra
