Fellow Rotarians,
Our meeting on Thursday will once again be on Zoom, beginning at 7:15am. This will be our last meeting in May. We are off next week due to Memorial Day.
There will be no Memorial Day parade in Jaffrey this year. However, our local veterans will be holding their usual observances at our town cemeteries and at each monument. There will be a reading of the names of deceased veterans on the Common, followed by a raising of the national flag at noon from half mast to full staff. Social distancing will be observed throughout the events for those who plan to attend.
In whatever way you observe Memorial Day this year, I ask you to please remember our veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Thank you.
