Hi Fellow Rotarians,
We meet at the Monadnock Bible Conference for our Club Assembly this Thursday. Bill Raymond, recently returned from the warmth of Florida, has the Invocation.
Our Club Assembly will find our Club making a financial presentation to Roy Baldwin, Executive Director of Monadnock Christian Ministries, which will go towards playground equipment in support of the After School Program. The program currently hosts nearly fifty Jaffrey children and there are plans to increase that number.
Coincidentally, we will also install Roy as our newest Rotarian. Always a nice surprise when the president gets an email saying, "I'm ready to join." Roy, we're looking forward to your doing just that!
We will also recognize our Student of the Month, this time from Conant High School. Speaking about school, Ben Wheeler and his committee have selected the recipient of the Rotary $2500 scholarship that will be given to a graduating senior on Friday, June 8th, when the Class of 2018 "walks" down the aisle.
Thanks to those Rotarians who gave checks to Clay Hollister since our meeting last week -- Clay will give an update Thursday on the progress of our annual drive.
