Happy Tuesday, Fellow Rotarians,
A good turnout last week to hear from Keith Stevens of the Peterborough Players on their upcoming season; I am already looking forward to our club event at a play this summer!
We meet for our weekly Breakfast Meeting at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, May 5th, at 7:15am. Our Guest Speaker will be from Tracie's Community Farm in Fitzwilliam. You'll learn all about Community Supported Agriculture, a concept bringing together farms and members of the community to share in a mutually beneficial relationship.
Roadside Clean-up this Saturday, May 7th, at 8:00am. We meet at West Rindge Builders on Rt. 202. "Many hands make work light." Spouses and kids welcome! Should take us around 90 minutes.
As a reminder that shouldn't need to be said: Please pay your breakfast dues invoice in a timely manner to make Treasurer Bill Raymond’s job easier.
A special thank you to Sheila Bergeron and the club volunteers for helping out with Interact’s volunteer event at Humiston Field in Jaffrey. It was a blustery three days, and I thank those that were able to assist and provide a Rotarian presence for the Interactors.
Upcoming Club Schedule:
- 5/11 @ 8:00am at the Cathedral of the Pines = monthly BOD meeting.
- 5/12 @ 7:15am at FPU = weekly breakfast meeting – guest speaker TBD.
- 5/18 @ 3:30pm = our 1st golf social event, followed by the buffet dinner & raffle fundraiser at the Shattuck Golf Club. This will replace our weekly club meeting on May 19th.
Enjoy the week, and I look forward to seeing you on Thursday morning.
Yours in service,
Rotarian Ben
