Good afternoon, Fellow Rotarians,
I hope everyone had a great weekend. My wife, Ann, and I got to experience our first Rotary District Conference up in Meredith, NH, this past weekend. It was a great networking and informative event, and I would encourage all to try to attend in the future. I will provide further feedback at one of our next weekly meetings.
Some items from last week and upcoming:
- Please see the attached three photos from our own Greg Walsh at this year’s Veteran’s Day ceremony. Don Upton, Clay Hollister and Andy Lawn were prominent figures in this year’s parade.
- Reminder = this Tuesday evening at 6:30pm @ The Cathedral of the Pines, there will be the CHS Interact Induction Ceremony; if you can attend for support, that is greatly appreciated!
- Raffle Update = we are meeting at 5:30pm @ The Cathedral of the Pines on Thursday, 11/18, to hold a social meeting and our raffle drawing. Please try to turn in all of your “sold tickets” to Jon Frederick or Stephanie Porter prior to Thursday evening.
- Franklin Pierce University will be closed after Thanksgiving, as the students have an extended leave for the holidays until they return in January. Updates will be provided on meeting location, etc., for December and January meetings.
