Happy Tuesday, Fellow Rotarians,
Hopefully everyone had a safe and fun-filled Halloween weekend despite the weather. The Club focus over the next two weeks is to sell out our 2,000 raffle tickets.; If you need more, please each out pro-actively to either Jon Frederick or Stephanie Porter.
This week, the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet on Thursday, November 4th, at 7:15am at Franklin Pierce University. It will be Purple Pinkie Day at Rotary, as we will be joined by Interactors from Conant High School. Purple Pinkie Day is a means by which Rotary and Interactors raise funds and awareness for Rotary's polio prevention projects. The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will also honor and recognize the "Interactor of the Month."
Below is our upcoming schedule:
- Wednesday, 11/10 = Board of Director’s Meeting at the Cathedral of the Pines, at 8:00am.
- No meeting the week of 11/11 due to Veteran’s Day Holiday.
- District Wide Conference on Saturday & Sunday 11/13 and 11/14 @ Church Landing Resort in Meredith, NH (member optional – please reach out to me if you are interested in attending).
- Thursday, 11/18 = weekly evening meeting at the Cathedral of the Pines, (most likely) starting at 5:30pm to select the raffle winners and enjoy a social gathering.
November is Rotary Foundation Month and December is Disease Prevention and Treatment Month.
