Dear Rotarians,
The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet this Thursday, November 6th, 7:15 am, at Franklin Pierce University. Amy Reagle Meyers will present on the topic "Professional Etiquette." Amy is currently the Chair of the Jaffrey Planning Board and is a board member of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests.
Rotarian Rudra Aryal has offered to host our evening social at his home next week, November 13th. We will discuss details at our Thursday meeting. Maybe we should do a pot-luck to ease the burden on our host?
Looking ahead, we will not meet next week, as it is a national holiday (Veterans Day). As Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 27th, enjoy with family and friends.
Thus, our last meeting of November will be at 7:15am on Thursday, November 20th, at Franklin Pierce University. Debra LeClair will be our guest speaker. She is an author and now lives in Jaffrey. She moved to our town two years ago, and she will share her writing experiences and provide a brief overview of her book.
The Community Supper that was sponsored by the Town of Jaffrey was very well attended, and every chair was occupied. It is good to see people gather together for friendship and meals. The Listening Session hosted by the League of Women Voters was, likewise, full, and we had to add three rows of chairs to accommodate all the interested people who attended.
Yours in Service,
Tom
