Hello Fellow Rotarians,

There will be no weekly meeting of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club this week, as Friday is Veterans Day

Please make an extra effort to SELL RAFFLE TICKETS. Everyone needs to do their share, as our goal is for each member to sell at least $300 worth of tickets.  This will be a big success, but only if everyone makes an effort to sell their tickets.

The raffle drawing will be held at our evening social at the Cathedral of the Pines from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, November 17th.  It will be a BYOB event; all Rotarians are asked to bring an appetizer to share.  We will draw the winning tickets at 6:00pm.

See you on November 17th, and thanks for selling those raffle tickets!

Yours in Service,

Peter

Matt Webber, Our Newest Rotarian

President Peter Russell inducts our newest Rotarian, Matt Webber (R).  Standing next to Matt is Thomas Frazier, Matt's sponsor, who is also one of our newer Rotarians.  Matt hails from New Zealand, and we welcome him aboard!

Kusum Aryal Addresses the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary

TOP: Kusum Aryal, daughter of Rotarian Rudra Aryal, spoke before the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club to share insight about the application, i.e., an app, that she is developing that will help an individual to coordinate, consolidate, and manage all of their online meetings and activities.  Kusum, a freshman majoring in Health Sciences at Franklin Pierce University, is a most effective and enthusiastic public speaker!

BOTTOM: Daddy and daughter together.  Rudra is an Associate Professor of Physics at FPU and, as you can tell, is only "slightly proud" of his daughter who, by the way, is considering becoming a Rotarian,

Enjoying a Laugh!

We're not sure what was said, but while all were standing for Matt Webber's induction as our newest Rotarian, Bill Raymond must have said something that got a great reaction from Sam LaFortune.  Lots of Rotarians were present for our first meeting in November, and attendance has been on the upswing.  A good reason for smiles!
