Dear Rotarians,

This week, the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, October 3rd, at 7:15am. We will continue discussing "How can we strengthen our club activities?" Our members' discussions and suggestions will improve our Club and make it more active.

Last week, we appreciated listening to members' views and suggestions on various topics during our "Enhancing Member Engagement and Retention" roundtable discussion. We mainly discussed how we can better engage and retain new members once they join, increase our Club's visibility and impact within the community, and better involve and maximize the expertise of our experienced members.

In addition, we covered the topics of how we can encourage more members to take on leadership roles within the Club. What can we do to create a more welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere at our meetings? Wow! What great ideas and opinions we heard in this roundtable format.

We concluded that every action, no matter how small, contributes to the foundation of a better community and satisfaction among us. Participating in activities and inspiring others through our volunteering "above self" can develop a powerful bond of love and prosperity in our communities. We all agreed that every member should come openly with some ideas and thoughts to serve the "above self," which is a significant contribution to the community!

On the morning of Saturday, November 9th, the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will participate in our twice-a-year roadside clean-up project.  As we anticipate a plethora of "Vote for..." yet to be picked up by candidates, the project will take place after the Presidential election.

Last week, our secretary, Bob Schaumann, visited the Grand Monadnock Rotary Club in his role as Area 1 Assistant Governor, and shared his vision for our Club's future and possible collaborations with them. Thank you, Bob, for your time and dedication!  Bob will visit Hollis-Brookline and Milford Rotary Clubs on Wednesday.

Our fundraising events are in full swing, and we are receiving tremendous support from local businesses for auction items and our community members for tickets. The Monadnock Ledger-Transcript is also helping us out by publishing our raffle event advertisement for free.

Your participation in this Club and insightful suggestions make our Club vibrant and prosperous. We greatly appreciate your important role in its continued success. Whether large or small, every contribution is valuable, and we are sincerely grateful for your dedication to our shared mission.

Yours in Service,

Rudra
