Hello, Fellow Rotarians,

Many thanks to Rudra Aryal for a great talk at last week's meeting, and to all who turned out for our October "Roadside Cleanup" under the direction of the inimitable Mike Shea, as well as the "Scarecrows on the Common" on Saturday.  A busy week!

NO MEETING this week due to Columbus/Native American day.  Our next meeting will be on Thursday, October 20th, at Franklin Pierce University, at 7:15am.  Past President Ben Wheeler will host our meeting, as I will be away.

Enjoy the week and the beautiful foliage!

Yours in Service,

Peter

Rotarian Rudra Aryal Shares His Journey from Nepal to the United States

It's a long way from Nepal, but Rudra Aryal, Ph.D., and a professor at Franklin Pierce University, spoke of his journey from his native Nepal to the United States.  A key word in Rotarian Rudra's vocabulary was the feeling of "serenity" that he felt upon coming to New Hampshire several years ago, and the word is still foremost in his mind in 2022. Rudra became a United States citizen; he's proud to be one of our newer Rotarians. Nice presentation, Rudra!

Rotary Raffle is Coming Up
