We meet at Franklin Pierce University this Thursday, October 18th, at 7:15am. Andy Lawn has the Invocation.
If you didn't notice it, Fall is DEFINITELY in the air! Along with Fall comes the Annual Raffle Party on November 2nd. Yes, only two weeks away! At today's BoD meeting, Misty Start reported that we are homing in on fifty items for both the Live and Silent Auctions, but more items are still needed. It is not too much to ask each Rotarian to source one item, so if you haven't done so, please do! Misty shared that we now have three Sponsors for the Raffle Party, and this is good news.
Bring your sold Raffle Ticket monies in and give them to Stephanie Niemela on Thursday -- please give ticket sales your highest priority (along with sourcing one item for the auction), as this is our major fundraiser.
Our Guest Speaker this Thursday is William Edson, whose presentation is entitled, “Lesson from a War Zone: Leading the Right Way by Creating a Genuine Human Connection.” Certainly, the title gives one pause for reflection -- should be an interesting and educational half-hour, and we look forward to hosting William.
