Hope everyone enjoyed Columbus Day, whether you worked or not. The leaves are really spectacular this time of year, even as the rain starts to knock them off.
The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, October 20th, at 7:15am. Past President Ben Wheeler will preside, as I will be away.
Steve Miller, pastor of First Church in Jaffrey, will be our guest speaker. Steve will share his experience with the Lakota of the northern plains in a talk entitled, "Indigenous Friendship." In addition, there will be a "Student of the Month" presentation.
Please bring in your sold raffle tickets and resupply so we can have a successful raffle. Everyone needs to try to sell at least $300 worth. Thank you for for your efforts!
