Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We meet at Sunflower's on Main Street in Jaffrey for our Breakfast Meeting on Thursday, November 1st, at 7:15am.  Randy Morse has the Invocation.

Why Sunflowers?  Not only is it a great restaurant, it is within walking distance of the Jaffrey Public Library.  Julie Perrin, Library Director, will host a tour for the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club immediately following our breakfast and a short business meeting.  Julie has made a number of significant and positive changes to the Library since she arrived on the scene in January 2017.

We are down to the last few days before our Rotary 2018 Raffle Party on November 2nd.  Rotarians who would like to help out - even for an hour or two on Friday during the day to help set up - are welcome.  Please let Misty know of your availability.  Be sure to bring ticket monies and tickets to our Thursday meeting so that, early on, Bill Raymond can process the checks.  It's not to late to ask your friends and neighbors to join us at the Raffle Party that kicks off when the Shattuck's doors open up at 6:30pm on Friday.

One of our own Rotarians -- Tonya Albee -- will be honored as the recipient of the Marion Mack Johnson Citizenship Award.  Please join us at a reception at the Jaffrey Civic Center on Thursday, November 1st, at 5:00pm, at which time Tonya will be recognized for her 40+ years of civic engagement that has benefited so many.  The award is presented annually to honor and recognize the commitment of area residents who have worked tirelessly to accomplish civic goals.

See you (twice!) Thursday,

Yours in Service,

bob
