Hello, Fellow Rotarians,

Two events this week, keeping in mind that we will not have a weekly Breakfast Meeting on Thursday morning, September 29th:
  • Thursday 9/29, 5:00 - 7:00pm -- Social at the Park Theater.  Bring your spouse/partner/friend.  There will be a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres provided by Stephanie Porter.  It will be relaxed and fun.
  • Saturday 10/1, Rotary day at Andy's tent at the FPU football game.  Bring your own food and drink.  Andy has a grill, and the game starts at 1:00pm, so get there well before the game begins.  Go Ravens!

Thanks to Rotarian Sadie Halliday for bringing Eric Graage, our guest speaker, to our Breakfast Meeting this past week.  Eric has an interesting challenge ahead building the Development Office at Franklin Pierce University.

Please plan ahead for Saturday October 8th, as we have two events -- Roadside Cleanup at 8:00am and Scarecrows on the Common later on that same morning. Mark your calendars, as "many hands make work light."

Yours in Service,

Peter

Our speaker for the meeting was Eric Graage, the new Vice President for University Advancement at Franklin Pierce University. He described his job and gave us all a better understanding of charitable giving in the U.S..

Tarah Castiglioni, the new Executive Director of Team Jaffrey, was a guest at the meeting to receive a donation and solicit our help for The Scarecrows on the Common event to be held on October 8th.  She was introduced by her predecessor, fellow Rotarian Stephanie Porter.
