Hi Fellow Rotarians,

This week we meet via ZOOM at 7:15am, Thursday morning, October 1st, to listen to our District Governor Steve Puderbaugh talk about the state of our district amid COVID-1.  Steve is serving during a difficult time; however, he is spearheading new initiatives such as the "Million Masks Distribution" on October 6th in Concord and the mobile food drive-in at Keene on October 8th. Steve, a veterinarian, owns and operates an animal hospital in Raymond, and he might be open to one or two critter questions. Let’s have all hands on ZOOM to welcome our district governor.

October 8th, we’re meeting in person at the Park Theatre and a tour of the almost-completed facility. Coffee and donuts will be served.  Any actors that wanna' perform their talents are welcome. Thank you, Clay and Caroline!

I also want to thank Jon Frederick for last week's excellent presentation on the waterfront.

Yours truly

Jed

Water, Water, Everywhere.... and coming up, plenty to drink!

Jaffrey Town Manager and fellow Rotarian Jon Frederick explains the history of the partnership of Jaffrey and the neighboring town of Peterborough relative to future water supplies that will benefit both towns, as well as local industry.  Jon's presentation on the waterfront at the Contoocook Lake public beach was well-received by Rotarians.  Coffee and donuts/muffins were eagerly scarfed down by hungry Rotarians and helped to fuel numerous questions about the project that were fielded by Jon.
