Dear Rotarians,
This Thursday, September 11th, we return to Franklin Pierce University for our 7:15am regular breakfast meeting. Our upcoming meetings on September 18th and 25th will also be at the University.
This Thursday, we will be handing out tickets and posters for the Annual Auction (Oct 17th) at our meeting. It is important to attend, as each member will be given SIX (6) tickets to sell. The tickets are $40/person or $75 for two people. Donna Senechal and Sam Lafortune will be handing out sheets of possible auction donor items and we need to all work together to get great items for auction. If you have secured a raffle item, PLEASE make sure that you contact Sam and let her know about it. Sam will check with each Rotarian at Thursday's meeting to gain an update on their donation list.
The Elm City Rotary will attend this week to receive our contribution for their enormously popular and successful sneaker program that benefits the children at both the Rindge Memorial and Jaffrey Grade Schools.
The Scarecrows on the Common festival is fast approaching on Saturday, October 4th, from 10am - 2pm. This has historically been a Rotary-sponsored event. We are looking for a few more volunteers to help out in the "hayloft." We will display "Supported by the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary" banners at this and other events to raise public awareness of Rotary contributions.
