Happy Tuesday, Fellow Rotarians,

Thank you to all Rotarians who turned out for the FPU game on Saturday.  It was a great day/event; a tough OT loss for the Ravens, but a very competitive and exciting game.  Once again, Rotarian Andy Lawn stepped up to “man the grill”!

The talents of Coach Gas go beyond the gridiron.  Coach Gas will deliver this Sunday's sermon at the Peterborough United Methodist Church, where Reverend Kathleene Card's congregation gathers.  The service will be online should you not be able to attend in person, and it can be viewed at https://youtu.be/U1n4ILeoqjg at 10:00am.  You are encouraged to "like" the video, so we can track Rotary visitors.

We will meet this Thursday, October 7th, at 7:15am, at Franklin Pierce.  Our guest speaker will be Bruce Hill, who will discuss the 250th celebration for the Town of Jaffrey.  I will not be able to attend, but former club President Jed Brummer will be more than capable of handling the duties.

Have a great week!

Yours in service,

Ben

Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary at Franklin Pierce/Assumption Game

A hard fought game at Sodexo Field at FPU saw the Ravens lose in OT to Assumption College, 35-28, in one of the Ravens' best efforts to date.  Jaffrey-Rindge Rotarians came out to support the team, and Andy Lawn's tailgate BBQ provided gastronomical delights, although a Big "W" would have made the afternoon a complete success.  Great team effort by the Ravens, Coach Gas!!!
