Our speaker will be Jon Frederick, who will discuss Jaffrey’s water - past, present, and future. Since we will be talking about water - at Jon’s inspiration - it is very appropriate to meet at the beach. Bring a beach chair. Spouses are welcome. Morning temperature will be around 50°. Thursday’s high will be 75°, so it will be a beautiful day to be on the water.
Contoocook Lake is at the headwaters of the Contoocook River, one of the few rivers that flows north, as most rivers flow south towards the equator.
