Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We will meet at Franklin Pierce University this week on Thursday, August 24th, at 7:15am.  This should be our final meeting in the side room where we met last week, as contractors work to finalize the construction in their cafeteria.

John and I would like to thank Donna Senechal for lending us her beautiful white convertible for the Jaffrey 250th Anniversary Parade.  Gail Therriault and Jed Brummer braved the sprinkles to join me for what was a unique small-town parade experience. We saw a lot of Rotarians and your families along the route, and we received well wishes all along our journey.

Our guest speaker for this Thursday's meeting of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will be Amber Dewey, President of the Monadnock Beekeeper's Association.  Amber will share insights about bees - so critical to our environment - and what Rotarians and their families can do to help bees survive via an embrace of pollinator gardening.

Rudra Aryal has reported in from the Frankfurt and Munich, Germany, Rotary groups, and it sounds like he is truly enjoying his experience. We certainly appreciate him representing the Jaffrey/Rindge Rotary club during his travels.

Yours in Service,

Bill/John
