Hello, Jaffrey-Rindge Rotarians,

We will not meet this week in observance of the Martin Luther King holiday.

Last Thursday, we had another good meeting of our Club, even though the turnout - with just 13 members present - was small for a club with 32 active members.  Of course, the mid-winter mornings are cold and dark at 7:15am, and many of our members are either working or sojourning in warmer climates. Our meetings are a great way to begin the day, so join your fellow Rotarians!

We covered a number of topics, including:
  • Responsibilities for finding speakers and for delivering invocations.
  • The need for monthly committee meetings and report-outs during club assemblies.
  • Club website and ClubRunner, and how to best utilize the software platform that runs it.
  • Fundraising events for 2024.
  • Interact's Spring trip to the Dominican Republic.

We will discuss most of these topics in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, it was an excellent MLK celebration with great events at Cathedral of the Pines and the Park Theatre.  Congrats to all of the Rotarians who were involved in and/or who attended these events.

Enjoy this week, and we will see you on the morning of February 25th at Franklin Pierce University for our next meeting.

Yours in Service,

John and Bill
