Greetings, Fellow Jaffrey-Rindge Rotarians,
After three weeks of sleeping in on Thursday mornings, we are back at the Cathedral of the Pines for a 7:15am meeting this week. We are now three weeks past the winter solstice, so the days are getting longer, and before we know it, Spring will be in the air. In fact, we may be getting a dose of Spring rains this week, even before our meeting. Although we will meet at the Cathedral, we will have coffee, donuts, fruit, and other goodies for breakfast this Thursday, January 11th.
We do not have a scheduled speaker for this week, so our agenda will focus on sharing our holiday adventures during happy fines and making plans for upcoming club activities, including the April community dinner, the Interact-led trip to the Dominican Republic, and our May golf tournament/fundraiser. We'll also spend a few minutes making plans for upcoming club socials and provide some project updates.
As Dr. Martin Luther King Day is on Monday, January 15th, our own Own Houghton will update us on the activities for that important day of celebration.
Best regards, and see you Thursday!
Yours in Service,
John and Bill
