Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We hosted a pancake breakfast at our last meeting, and everyone seemed to enjoy the hot pancakes and local maple syrup. A big thanks to Don Upton for supplying some of his golden nectar, as well as Greg Walsh.

A big thanks, too, to Tom Frazier who was generous enough to purchase all of the Shelter of the Storm "Taste of Monadnock" tickets during last week’s meeting.

Our next meeting will this Thursday, July 27th, at 7:15am, at the Cathedral of the Pines. We will have the pleasure of having Allison Deutsch, Director of Production for the Peterborough Players, join us for what I am sure will be an interesting overview, as she provides a "you are there" perspective of what it takes to put on a show (and what the audience never sees), as well as an update of all things that make the "Peterborough Players."

Please remember we will need Rotarians for the annual Fair at the First Church of Jaffrey to help with parking on Wednesday, August 2nd, at 11:00am. See Owen Houghton for details.

Circle Saturday, August 19th, on your calendar.  This is the big Jaffrey 250th Anniversary Parade, and the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will be in it!  Donna Senechal is donating her convertible.  Owen has reached out to Joe Manning to see if he will be available to ride in our parade car.  Please join us to march in the parade from 10am to 12 Noon.  Rotarians, spouses, significant others, and Interactors are all invited to participate.

A reminder that Greg Walsh and FPU President Kim Mooney will be hosting an evening reception on August 3rd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at their home (Pearly House) at 9 University Drive in Rindge. This is a very generous offer, and all Rotarians/spouses/significant others are invited.

Look forward to seeing all of you on Thursday.

Yours in Service,

Bill/John
