Hi, Fellow Rotarians,
A good turnout last week for our breakfast meeting. Chefs Coleman and Schaumann prepared pancakes for 24 Rotarians and guests. A big thank you to Don Upton who donated a quart of his best maple syrup. We will do this again later this summer, judging by the favorable comments heard from many.
Our next meeting of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will be held at the Cathedral of the Pines on Thursday, June 13th, at 7:15am. Our speaker for this week will be Moritz, who will share his year-long experiences in Rindge before he returns to Germany.
Board members will meet on Wednesday, June 12th, at the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce office, at 8:00 AM.
Gavel night is fast approaching, and will start at 5:30 PM on June 27th at the Cathedral of the Pines. Much fun should be had by all, and John and I look forward to everyone's attendance, including spouses/significant others, as we pass the gavel over to Rudra and several new board members. We both are working on the upcoming leadership transition. We met with Rudra and are working out key leadership positions for the upcoming year.
Yours in Service,
Bill and John
