September 6 Message from the President

Hello fellow Rotarians,

I hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend even though it marks the unofficial end to our summer season. Because of the holiday we will not have a meeting this week. I will see you all next on the 15^th at FPU.

We received nice thank-you letters from Rick Lambert on behalf of our donation to the Jaffrey War Memorial Committee and from Dennis McMann our DG for the hospitality we extended to him. In the later Dennis said, “I also wanted to say how impressed I was with your Quest Program.”

Let me remind you all that Don Upton will be closing his ticket sales to the Big-E after the next meeting and will meet with all that are going and review details of the trip, plan carpooling, etc.. I went two years ago and it was a great experience. Besides all of the events expected at a large state fair with pavilions from all of the New England States, there was a circus, a parade and a cocktail party.
