Team Jaffrey Presents at the September Meeting

 

Melanie McDonald, Executive Director of Team Jaffrey was the speaker at our September 15th meeting.  Melanie told us of all the program that Team Jaffrey is involved in, some new this year, many ongoing as yearly traditions.  She showed a video of the events they have sponsored in the last year.  She had a quiz show, and handed out tee-shits for correct answers.  Collectively these events make the downtown area a more vibrant focal point of the town.  

 

The next major event, scheduled for October 8th, is the annual "Scarecrows on the Common" where our club, with help from the Conant High School Interact Club, will work in the hay pit.

 

At the meeting the club also made a donation to Team Jaffrey to help support the Scarecrows.
