The Jaffrey War Memorial
Ricky Lambert from the Jaffrey War Memorial Committee thanked us for a donation to help with the upkeep of the memorial. He then discussed some of the history of the Memorial that honors the veterans of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Project Shakespeare
Deborah Thurber founder of Project Shakespeare came with several of her students, ranging in age from the lower grades to high school. She described the trip they took to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario Canada. Our donation helped them to attend classes and performances.
the visit was highlighted by one of her senior student’s terrific recitation of one of the soliloquies from McBeth.
