Hi Fellow Rotarians,

Because of Veterans Day (Saturday, November 11th), there will be no Breakfast Meeting this week on Thursday, November 9th.

Our Raffle Party was clearly a success as we had a "full house" at the Friday event. The monies raised will be put to good use in our two communities.

Importantly, David Tower was recognized for his vision, his leadership, and his ability to positively "touch" so many people and organizations in both Jaffrey and Rindge. The words "service" and "David Tower" go hand-in-hand. Clay Hollister did a nice job of announcing David as the recipient of our 2017 Paul Harris Fellow award.

To say that David was "touched" by the Club's recognition is an understatement, at best. Congratulations to David... and we ALL wish you the best in Florida as you enjoy your "Snowbird" experience. Who knows? Maybe even a hole-in-one awaits!  We look forward to your return in or around the May time-frame.

The Raffle Party was a positive evening... and kudos to Travis and his team for a job done well. We are almost finished wrapping things up. A shout-out to Randy Morse and Misty for their efforts, as well as ALL those on the Committee. I am particularly grateful for Bill Raymond's work relative to handling all the cash and ensuring we had everything in place.

To the entire Club, I am sure we will find a "home" for the funds raised, thanks to a community of people who purchased tickets in support of our annual event.  Thanks, too, to all who brought in items for both our silent auction and the live auction.  Andy and Mike, nice job, as usual!

I look forward to seeing everyone on November 16th at Franklin Pierce.  The holidays and the colder weather are almost upon us!

Yours in Service,
