Weekly Update 3/17
Today is Tuesday Mach 17, Happy ST Patrick’s Day to all! The day did not start out all that Happy as I had the Board of Directors huddled under the canopy of the Chamber of Commerce Office while the rain poured down. The access code had been changed but the executive branch was not included in the memo divulging the new code?!
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The March 19th Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Meeting time and place has been changed.
Meeting Time 5:30 pm Dinner Meeting
Location is” JP Stephens Restaurant” on Rte. 202 in Rindge
Dinner cost for Rotarians and prospective New Members will be paid for by the Club.
Spouses/Significant Others are welcome to attend at a cost of $25 per person which includes gratuity.
Cash Bar
Dinner choices include Shrimp & Pasta or Chicken Picatta.
This is a Club Assembly Meeting that will have an emphasis on Fellowship and celebrating the First Day of Spring.

The Board of Directors did actually assemble in the Chamber Conference Room after some quick thinking by Bruce Edwards.
The Good News is that the Board unanimously approved Peter Davis as our Newest Member. Also, the Board agreed to follow past years precedent in congratulating our local Championship Sports Team. The Conant High School Varsity Girls Basketball Team will be recognized at the April 23rdClub Assembly at which time we will present a check for $1,000 to the charity of the girls choosing. Tom Doane successfully completed his President Elect Training Session and is full of fresh ideas that he will share with the Club in the near future. Membership was discussed and will be the focus of the April Board Meeting.

Please feel free to invite a prospective NEW member to this Thursday’s Dinner Meeting and I encourage you to bring your spouse.
