Weekly Update 5/12
Thursday May 14th will be our first meeting of 2015 back at ” The Shattuck”. I really enjoy our Summer venue and hope the NEW Members feel the same way. Speaking of New members, I look forward to welcoming Andy Harris into the Club on Thursday. Assistant District Governor Doug Rupert will be in attendance along with Assistant District Governor Elect Dale Gabel.
I would like to Thank Jim Banghart for posting last week’s bulletin and Past President Mike Shea for presiding over last Thursday’s meeting. It was unfortunate that I missed Emylene’s presentation of her homeland which I was looking forward too. The host parent’s fears should be put to rest after my reconnaissance mission to California. Emylene is going to love the west coast although I am 99% sure that she won’t patronize the same establishments that I found myself in! Last week was Newport Beach, CA and tonight I am headed to Berlin, NH. Quite the contrast.
Our Guest Speaker for this Thursday’s Meeting will be Melanie MacDonald of Team Jaffrey. She is going to present “Building a Brand for the Monadnock Region”.
Mike Shea has the invocation which I am sure will be totally inspirational.
